Boeing, Lufthansa Technik partner to support German CH-47F Chinook fleet sustainment

Boeing and Lufthansa Technik Defense have signed an agreement to establish the framework for sustaining Germany’s future fleet of CH-47F Block II Chinook heavy-lift helicopters, marking a significant expansion of Lufthansa Technik’s defence MRO capabilities.

Signed during the Farnborough International Airshow, the agreement lays the foundation for a future long-term sustainment contract under which Boeing and Lufthansa Technik will develop an integrated network of parts warehouses across Germany to support the German Armed Forces’ Chinook operating bases. The initiative aims to enhance fleet availability through comprehensive spare parts logistics, warehousing and supply chain support.
