HAECO has signed a long-term Elite Licensed Repair Service Facility (LRSF) agreement with Woodward, expanding its OEM-authorised maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities for critical components supporting the CFM International LEAP engine family. Under the agreement, HAECO is authorised to provide a comprehensive range of MRO services for Woodward’s portfolio of fuel control, engine actuation and air management systems used on CFM LEAP-1A, LEAP-1B and LEAP-1C engines. The partnership integrates HAECO into Woodward’s global Elite LRSF network, strengthening OEM-aligned component support for the rapidly expanding LEAP fleet. It also enhances HAECO’s ability to deliver certified repair solutions with consistent quality standards and streamlined service across multiple regions. The agreement further reinforces HAECO’s position as a key engine component support hub across Asia-Pacific and the Chinese Mainland. Leveraging its facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen, the company will offer localised, OEM-approved repair services closer to airline operators in one of the world’s fastest-growing LEAP engine markets. The inclusion of support for the LEAP-1C engine also reflects the companies’ commitment to supporting the continued expansion of China’s commercial aviation sector. For operators, the collaboration is expected to improve access to OEM-approved repairs for critical engine components, reduce turnaround times and enhance fleet availability. The partnership also underscores both companies’ focus on expanding technical capabilities, strengthening OEM collaboration and delivering long-term lifecycle support for the growing global LEAP engine fleet.
